Vonda Poynter, Director of FAHE Consulting,
has over 23 years experience as a community development consultant, specializing in grant writing and project administration in the private and not-for-profit sectors. Vonda has written and implemented Community Development Block Grant Programs in various program areas – housing, economic development, community projects - as well as working with communities on public facility programs with Kentucky Infrastructure Authority programs and Rural Development funding sources. She has also worked with Kentucky Housing Corporation’s various programs for both rental and home ownership housing production. Vonda has experience from planning strategies, to applying for funds, to approval of funding, to project implementation and closeout. Vonda enjoys people of the communities that she works with and the relationships that are built during program implementation.

Suzette Martin, Program Coordinator
for FAHE Consulting, has a Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Instrumental Music Education from Berea College. Working with FAHE Consulting since January of 2008, Suzie has the primary responsibility of packaging loan and grant applications and Environmental Assessments. Suzie has taken many opportunities to further her job skills by attending various trainings offered by Federal Home Loan Bank, Neighborworks America Training Institute, Kentucky Housing Corporation, and the Department for Local Government. In October, Suzie attained Certification for Low Income Housing Tax Credit Compliance through Kentucky Housing Corporation. Although new to the world of Grant Writing and Project Management, Suzie enjoys her new career and looks forward to a future in helping to make our communities a better place to live.
